Ticket Price – $150 ($1,400 for a table of 10)
As a registered charity, the CSO needs your help, support and donations to ensure a sustainable future which will continue to bring opportunities for music appreciation to the heart of our community.
The CSO has delivered many extraordinary concerts, and community and educational programs throughout its history because of the support from businesses large and small, local, national and international. The CSO’s concerts and events are sought-after networking opportunities and we look forward to welcoming new companies to share these moments with us.
Donations over $2.00, from individuals or businesses, are tax deductible.
All donations raised at the event will help support the CSO continue to provide a variety of different music, education and community programs in Canberra and the region including:
- Kingsland Resident Artist Program—a unique program that offers early career musicians from around the country the opportunity to further their skills and add to the cohort of local musicians who enrich our community
- Education Giving Circle—providing inspiring, meaningful and curriculum aligned experiences to students in the ACT and surrounding region
- Community and Education Programs including Painting with Parkinson’s, Rediscovering Music and Heartstrings – which provides free activities because we feel everyone should be able to experience the thrill of hearing live classical music
- Instrument Fund—helping us to sound our brightest and best. Previous donations we have received have enabled us to purchase three much needed percussion instruments
This unique evening will be a grand symphony of joyful interactions—from amazing food and wine to exceptional music, including a live classical jukebox performed by CSO musicians and lead by Chief Conductor and Artistic Director Nicholas Milton and an exclusive auction led by Tim Shaw, breakfast presenter at 2CC, where a small number of special items will be auctioned to raise money for the CSO.

- Chair Sponsorship – Reserve $3,000
A Chair Sponsorship can demonstrate your passion for a particular instrument while supporting the orchestra to achieve its artistic and community goals. It is an opportunity to forge a deeper connection with the musicians. Chair Sponsors can choose an instrument they love, a player they know, or a chair recommended by the CSO. A reserve figure of $3,000 is set for rank and file musicians. If bidding exceeds $5,000 the Chair will become that of a principal musician.
- Conducting Management Workshop – Reserve $8,000
A unique professional development opportunity (valued at $12,000), for up to 20 staff, which includes a pre-rehearsal session with Dr Nicholas Milton AM, before sitting on the stage to experience an ActewAGL Llewellyn Series rehearsal involving over 60 musicians. The following day, Dr Milton will attend your workplace for an open debrief with staff. The participants will be also given tickets to the concert that week. These workshops are unique and unlike any other professional development courses available. The workshop looks at how the orchestra mirrors the modern workplace and focuses on areas such as leadership, management, and teamwork. The CSO will work closely with your organisation to build a bespoke and relevant program.
- CSO Couples Getaway Weekend – Reserve $2,000
Pick up your loan car from Rolfe Classic BMW, drive to the Southern Highlands for a night away at the beautiful and historic Peppers Manor House, including a scrumptious dinner and breakfast! On the way back drop into Lerida Estate Winery at Lake George for lunch and your complimentary case of premium Lerida wine. *Terms and conditions apply.
- Lerida Estate Single Barrel Syrah – Reserve $1,400
A case – 12 bottles – of Lerida Estate Single Barrel Syrah 2017. This exceptional case of wine is one of only twenty to ever be produced, and is not available for public purchase.
- Fleetwood Mac Tour – Reserve $2,000
Four fully catered corporate suite tickets to the Fleetwood Mac Tour performance at the Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney Tuesday 27 August 2019. Experience the awarding band with a new line-up of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Stevie Nicks, and Christine McVie along with newcomers Mike Campbell and Neil Finn.

*Terms and Conditions: All drivers of the vehicle must hold a full licence and sign an indemnity form prior to driving the car. A copy of each driver’s licence will also be required. The vehicle is limited to 500km. The vehicle provided will depend on availability and can be discussed upon arranging the date of collection. Long weekends are excluded. Pick up of the vehicle will be on a Friday afternoon and it will need to be returned on the Monday morning. Winner’s name to be provided by Frances Corkhill from CSO.
