The weather is always an important factor when planning events in our region and at this stage the weather is expected to be wonderful. Of course, as with any outdoor event, preparation is the key to comfort. Depending on when you arrive at Queen Elizabeth II Park and where you will be seated you could be in the afternoon sun or the cool of the evening, so please bring those things that will make you most comfortable throughout the concert, including an umbrella just in case. In the unlikely event that the Symphony by the River is postponed or cancelled due to bad weather you will be informed by Council’s Facebook and Twitter accounts and the main website page.
