The artist’s own musical preferences and the music of his milieu will also be explored in works that span from well-loved classics to popular music of our own time. Curated by CSO violinist Pip Thompson, the music chosen is inspired by the artworks themselves and informed by the context of the artist’s life. Among the featured composers are Ravel, Sculthorpe and Britten, with film music from Ennio Morricone and arrangements of the music of popular artists such as U2 completing a diverse and varied program.

Join a pre-concert Curator’s Talk to explore the Sidney Nolan: Search for Paradise exhibition (at 6:50pm).

Doors open at 6:45pm. Pre-concert drinks available for purchase.
