In 2023, the CSO continues its leading Rediscovering Music program for people with hearing loss, in partnership with Better Hearing Australia Canberra.

Curated and presented by CSO bassoonist Kristen Sutcliffe, a practising audiologist, Rediscovering Music guides participants in active listening practice and provides a supportive community for rehabilitation. Each session explores the range and timbre of a particular instrument, with a focus on learning to enjoy music with hearing aids and Cochlear implants.
