A unique concert series focused on finding the joy in listening to music with any degree of hearing loss
Rediscovering Music supports people with hearing loss to connect meaningfully with music and enhance their listening experience.
Curated and hosted by CSO bassoonist and audiologist Kristen Sutcliffe, Rediscovering Music is particularly impactful for those with hearing aids or Cochlear Implants. Each concert focuses on a particular instrument with strategies and guidance for the audience to maximize their connection to live music. Performances are informal and interactive, fostering a shared community experience.
Rediscovering Music forms part of the CSO’s broader commitment to providing music for our community members of all ages who are D/deaf or hard of hearing.
"If they had one of these concerts every week I would be there. I find hearing the music is so uplifting." Sue Daw
“It was utterly superb; great interaction. A rare treat.” Colin, Rediscovering Music audience member
