Her music has been presented internationally at events including the Huddersfield Festival of Contemporary Music, Metropolis New Music Festival, Eavesdropping Symposium London, SEAMUS National Conference, Tectonic Festival (Adelaide), ISCM World Music Days, International Rostrum of Composers, New York City Electronic Music Festival, Pittsburgh Festival of New Music, and the Bendigo International Festival of Exploratory Music. Recent commissions include The Arts Centre Melbourne, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Wien Modern, Lucerne Festival, Foundation Royaumont, Lucerne Festival, Red Fish Blue Fish, and ELISION Ensemble, among others.
Annie has received support from the APRA AMCOS Art Music Fund, New Music USA, the Australian Cultural Fund, Australia Council for the Arts grants, the National Cultural and Arts Foundation (Taiwan), the 2020 Monash International Woman’s Day Composition Commission Prize, and the Melbourne Prize’s Beleura Composition Award. She was recently awarded the David Li Sound Gallery Commission 2023 from the Monash University Performing Arts Centres (MPAC).
Annie completed doctoral studies at the University of California, San Diego, and is currently an Assistant Teaching Professor of composition and electronic music at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, USA.
