Phoebe Mu

Phoebe is a pianist and collaborative musician currently undertaking a double degree in Law and Music at the Australian National University. Originally from Sydney, she began her musical training at a young age, developing a versatile musical foundation across piano, harpsichord, cello, violin, clarinet and classical voice.
She studied piano with Natalia Ricci through the Sydney Conservatorium of Music’s Rising Stars program, where she was among the youngest students accepted, and has received multiple awards in state and national competitions. In 2022, she completed Licentiate diplomas in Piano Performance with Trinity College London and the AMEB, and received substantial scholarship offers from Berklee College of Music (USA) and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
In addition to her performance training, Phoebe is majoring in composition and film scoring, which hasbroadened her musical perspective and inspired a renewed focus on collaborative performance. Through the Kingsland Fellowship, she looks forward to refining her artistry as a performer through professional mentorship and especially engagement with Canberra’s musical community.
